JCIN UI Editorial Board
The Junior Chambers International University of Ibadan Chapter, held her first general assembly for the 2024/2025 Local Organisation year on the 14th of July, 2024, at the Faculty of Agriculture Large Lecture Theatre (LLT). The event was themed: “Adaptive Leadership: Developing a Growth Mindset While Navigating Change and Uncertainties.” The theme speaker, Mr Olusaya Martins, a renowned leadership coach and motivational speaker, spoke passionately and extensively on the topic. He shared insights on how individuals can cultivate a growth mindset, embrace change, and leverage on opportunities for personal and professional growth.
The event was also graced by JC Oladeji Mubeenah Olabisi, Executive Vice President JCI LAUTECH; JC Fajuyigbe ‘Savvy Bolu’ Moboluwaji, Director of partnerships and collaborations; JC Emmanuel Idowu, the erstwhile EVP male; and JC Oyeniyi Israel, the President of the Renewable Natural Resources.
Also, all the board members in attendance, took their oaths of office. They were sworn in by the Local Organisation President, Gbemileke Onifade. The President also presented his plan of action before the house. The general assembly ended around 6pm and it was concluded with the unanimous recitation of the JCI mission and vision.
